Privacy sets are interior handlesets with a locking mechanism. This Model is an Interior Mortise Thumbturn Privacy which features a leverset trim and a separate privacy bolt trim that operate two latches in a shared lock body. A privacy set is ideal for an interior door that may need to be locked, for example; bedroom and bathroom doors.
