I have purchased many items from Wayfair, and always been at minimum satisfied, and not infrequently delighted. My experience with this item has been a shocking exception. In a badly beaten up box I received a filthy, badly broken in multiple places, cement dust covered piece of garbage that was either previously used or returned. The damage could not all have happened in transit - this was obviously shipped as a broken unit, and the internal packaging was makeshift and totally inadequate. It was also the wrong item - I ordered a double threshold, this was a single threshold. It was described as 30lbs in weight - this was about 7 lbs in weight and utterly flimsy. I notice this item is now showing as “out of stock” - if it is ever brought back I would strongly recommend others avoid it, and also the company that sent this piece of garbage when it was clearly fit only to be out in a dumpster. I await with interest to see how my complaint is processed - certainly no gold stars for that yet, but I will give it time.

We first bought another shower base for basically the same amount of money. When it arrived, there was no way we could have the contractor install it. The supporting ribs were visible and there were other manufacturing flaws. The company we bought it for basically said tough. So we found this one and order it. Wow what a difference! It arrived on time with great tracking provided. Our contractor said the quality was night and day. This was a shower base he would put in his house. Thank you Wayfair for providing a quality product.

Hard to find anything locally with this spec. Glad to find that WayFair has it.
