Illume 59.5 in. x 78 in. Fully Frameless Wall Hinge Shower Door GW-WH-59-5-SB

We just completed a remodel of our master bath. We needed a shower door that did not require drilling into the shower pan curb. The Illume frameless shower door met all of our needs. We are super happy with the result.

Great product! Simple instructions. I was scared at the minimum opening fitment because we were so close. The manufacturer says 59.5” is the minimum, HOWEVER… you DO have about another 14”- 38” play. So Id safely say the minimum is 59 14”. Also I do wish they included gasket seals for where the fixed glass touches.

I ordered this for a client that we did a bathroom remodel for in August 2020. It is stunning. We actually installed it with the fixed panel on the left and the shower door on the right. My clients love that the door swings both directions, if you want it to or you can install the accessory the company provides for 1 way opening. Let me just say that you must be very accurate with your measurements. We had a 59.5" at the bottom, 59.5" in the middle and a 59 3/8" top opening measurements. They fit like we custom ordered it. There is no room for adjustments beyond that 1/8". If your walls are not plumb, this door will not work. Also, make sure you prepare your walls to have studs supports where the doors will be installed. The glass is heavy and needs to be drilled into wood, not anchored into drywall. The walk through opening is kind of tight at 27" If I could have changed anything, it would be that the door is the largest piece and the fixed panel is the smaller piece of glass. Wayfair was great before the sale; I called and they answered all my questions so I could make the best decision for my clients. The shipping was top notch too. Everything came very well protected and it arrived way earlier than their estimated date. This made our project come together even better and on time. Thanks, Wayfair!!!!
