These rough in valves go with the roman tub faucets. Well constructed and all the parts and pieces were packaged in a manner that you know how they should be assembled.

You'll need one if you are installing hansgrohe faucets - it might require some work with pipes to install it but once it is there, faucet works fine. Heavy, nicely done, nothing flimsy about it.
