I am glad to have found this on Wayfair! I would give it 5 stars except that the price is pretty high-but that's not Wayfair's fault. Their price was better than anyone else's for this hinge kit. But it does get 4 stars because I was able to install my hidden door bookcase which opens fully -to sit flatly against the wall and when closed, it hides an entire, very large room in my house. I always wanted a secret passageway, and now I have one ! Thanks, Wayfair!

Not intuitive to install the first time, but it eventually made sense and the subsequent installs were very easy. Very heavy duty and handles a solid core door with ease. NOTE: The thickness of this hinge WILL leave a gap at the top of your door. If you're using it for a door that will swing in, you can place the top moulding slightly lower, to mask the gap. If yours is a swing-out door, or you otherwise don't want a gap between the top of the door and the bottom edge of the top frame, you'll want to choose a different type of hinge.

Worked perfectly as advertised.

The kit appears to be quality and now that I have installed it work well. The negative is it came with rust on it so I had to sand and coat it in oil. The other negative is ANGI cancelled on me either 3 or 4 times, I lost count and then left me to figure it out myself. So I had to setup mount and remount over and over until I figured it out because of no help. Extremely hard to manage and mount a custom 8” door that weighs a lot by yourself.
