LG 18,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner, up to 1000 Sq. Ft. with Remote in White

Unit does not cool as it should.

Very difficult to put together and that was from my husband and his employee, who works in home services and repair. The instructions were cryptic and Wayfair link to view assembly video was inop. But now for the really fun news. This needs a special outlet with different voltage than most units. If you dig into the description, it will say 220 needed, but first the average person (me) it didn’t flag an issue. We had to hire an electrician to rewire our outlet. 924.00 later, my air conditioner on sale cost me twice what it should have.

We arent home but I gave specific instructions to put on the porch by the entrance to the house. Still snowfall every day. My neighbors said they would go and put it in the garage instead of it just sitting in the driveway.

Haven’t installed yet as the info stated it was 115V and it was actually 230V so we had to order an adapter but Wayfair was great and helped make it right for us. Other than that it looks to be a great AC unit and it was delivered with extreme care being wrapped up on a small pallet.

It came the next day as it promised, it was a easy set up, including the Wi-Fi function. Only cons is in order to have it on my Alexa app, I need to keep an LG app too.

Life saver! .... Cools down our large upstairs bedroom in a few hours. The old AC would struggle all day to accomplish the same thing. Very happy with the purchase.
