The directions are a little tricky, but use the Allen key to get the little black piece out. We made that mistake the first go around!

This item was delivered today, and we immediately installed it. The instructions were a little confusing as there were no actual words, but we were able to get it installed and we have our towels hanging on the back of our bathroom door.
