Steps are high enough to make it easy to step upon them for an elderly person or someone who has recently had surgery or back problems. They feel secure and don't have a tendency to tip as some steps have done. These were perfect to enhance my husband's ability to easily step into the house after having hip surgery.

This should be listed for outdoor use only. The top surface has hard raised bumps for traction. Not comfortable at all with bare feet beside a bed. Perhaps if they were rounded off it would be more comfortable but as is it is painful.

Not as heavy as I feared yet somehow stays put. Better yet I haven’t tripped over it once (yet). It’s a hard composite/plastic material with a finish that’s soft like silicone. Except the footbed which is non skid. But it’s great for helping me get out of a rather high bed in a way that doesn’t endanger my injured back. Perfect height for me.

I wish it was a little higher. Also the "bumps" on the platform - there to protect one from slipping, I guess - are actually quite painful to step on! But I guess that will help wake me up in the morning! LOL! Overall, it does the trick.

This platform helps me boost up to a high bed which I needed! The 'floor' part has bumps for non lip but you do have to wear slippers cause it will hurt your toes otherwise.

We had to send this back (which is rare for us). The riser step had round nodules that dug into our foot. It could only be used with shoes on. Since it was meant for stepping out of bed in bare feet, it was not appropriate.
