Handrail with Wall Returns

I bought 11' rail. I Based on the description and advertisement I was expecting that the rail was a single unit. Instead it was cut in half with edges that were not painted. The underlying aluminum shows. In addition each rail had scratches some larger than others. Based on. Slit on the packaging I would say it occurred during packaging.

The kit is nice. Unfortunately mine has some defects with the wall returns: 1) wall return pipes are made with pipes that are visibly smaller than the handrail pipe. As a result, I have a "bottleneck" on each side (see picture) 2) either wall returns are too short, or the mounting bracket is too long. As a result there is a gap between the returns and the wall of around 4mm. (you can't shift the pipe toward the wall as the contact area is round)

This hand rail is a sleek design that will fit in almost any situation. The smooth metal construction allows for a good hand grip. Easy assembly but the mounted rail provides a solid, secure support while on the stairway.
