Moen Hydro Energetix Handheld Shower 200H0BL

Nice looking hand held shower head, looks great, easy to install, not sure it will hold up like previous Moen products due to the amount of plastic used. Plastic hand held piece that attaches to shower arm is not going to hold up and down the line will be an issue. Moen knows this, why not make it sturdy?

I love how flexible the hose is, good quality. We purchased a different shower head, from a different mfg., for our guest bath and the hose is very stiff and doesn't even hang naturally it curls and sticks out. The different spray options are ok, nothing too write home about, waterflow is fairly good. What I do not like, the spray head/handle area is straight and does not angle downward, or should I say have a curve in the handle. The bracket can be adjusted so the head can be tilted up or down but it does not angle downward enough. I'm 6', it sprays at my chest when my back is against the wall making it hard to soap-up. My wife, 5' 5", it sprays her in the top of the head/face. Moen does not make a separate wall mount suction cup bracket so I'm looking at a Waterpik shower head as the spray handle is curved and this will hopefully give us more freedom. Note that our shower pipe, where it comes out of the wall, is close to 7' high whereas a standard shower pipe is around 6' and a few inches. So this does make a difference but still, we didn't have this issue with previous shower heads, only our new Moen which I splurged on figuring the extra money spent would be worth it.

This shower head is wonderful. Everything (the ease of installation, the number of settings, the water pressure) was great. My only suggestion would be that a longer bracket would be most helpful, especially when replacing shower heads like mine that are installed at 6’6”.
