This is advertised as solid wood but I didn’t see any of it! Unless it’s in the middle. When we drilled the hole for the door knob the layers just fell apart. It’s not even glued together! The sides aren’t big enough to center the knob and have the striker plate fit. Not very well made and it’s definitely not worth the price charged for it and not worth your time. Very disappointed!

This 1-panel slab door was exactly the style I wanted—sleek, minimalist, and very high-end looking. The first thing I noticed was the weight. This door is very heavy and sturdy compared to my old one. It’s advertised as solid wood, and you can definitely feel the difference immediately. It isn’t one of those cheap, hollow-core doors it feels like a permanent, quality fixture. The finish is incredibly smooth and arrived ready for paint, which is perfect for customizing your look. I will admit I was quite shocked to realize that I had to create the door hole myself, but I bought a door installation kit for this task and watched a YouTube video. But I didn’t even get a chance to use it because …I went about the installation by removing the hinges and hardware from my old door, thinking this would be a perfect swap. Unfortunately, I hit an epic waste of time moment. When I attempted to put this slab into the frame, it wouldnt even slide into the area. While my original door (without hardware) fits perfectly into the slot, this new one was just too wide. After checking with a tape measure, I realized the measurements were off by quite a bit. I’m not a carpentry expert, and I learned that the difference was too much for me to safely remedy or shave down without professional tools. Final Verdict I absolutely recommend this door because the quality and sleek design are top-notch. However, please pay attention to your measurements! Dont assume a standard size will fit your specific frame. Measure to the exact notch on your tape measure before you start taking your old door apart. It’s a beautiful, heavy-duty door—just make sure it actually fits your space!

I have ordered doors elsewhere and never had one that was as protected as this one was so that it wouldn't be damaged before it arrived at my house. It is heavy and sturdy and exactly as pictured I would recommend.
