Tankless Water Heater RUR160eN

The Rinnai tankless H2O heater works as advertised-- water gets heated quickly, and with the wi-fi controller installed, I can use my smartphone or tablet to control aspects of it, i.e. enabling hot water on demand and setting the temperature of the water. However it is the APP that needs some work. There is *minimal* information on the app's features and how to use it. It's a great idea that just needs a little work to make it truly useful.

This compact unit was a GREAT buy. A little noisy for an outdoor unit when fan starts up but quickly settles down within a few seconds. If power is lost, temp settings are also lost.. the cover has to be removed from the unit to override the max temp of 120 which I set a little higher to 130. The recirculation system works flawlessly and I love it.. hot water in a second or two. It has not malfunctioned or caused any issues with supply of hot water, also saves a ton of space. Last but not least, the Rinnai app is nice to use. I can turn on/off the recirculation feature, change temp or view usage statistics real-time. Overall my family and I are happy with our purchase.

The Rinnai tankless gas hot water system is great when the circulating system is an added feature.

We have only had our heater for 2 months but so far it is producing all the hot water we need.

We have had our unit running for just about a month. It is a Sensei NG outdoor unit. We also purchased pipe cover and bottom plate. It is compact, easy installation when following Rinnai Instructions. Circulation pump provides hot water pretty quickly. Love that the unit can be easily repaired and serviced, which reduces costs. On the operating side we found there isn’t a lot of information for the owner. We had some issues setting up WiFi buttons, we fixed one, now the other is not working. May just be batteries. WiFi App could be better, it takes a little time to get the hang of. We use it instead of the buttons. We have had a couple of times if you turn hot water off, then back on within a short period of time, the water turned cold, and seemed to not start heating without turning off hot water faucet off and waiting a minute to get hot water again. We haven’t figured that one out, we have talked with dealer and did some googling no clear answer yet. Overall we are ple
