I bought those doors for all entire house. they are made of the solid wood and look beautiful

I love these doors! They feel great, they were installed by professionals, so easy peasy for us. We broke through the dining room wall to the existing bedroom that is now my new craft room.... aka "The Queendom". I am truly bessed and I pray you are, as well. We ordered 2 of these barn doors, so just under $2500 worth of product. When we opened the first box, something didn't seem right because there was no groove in the bottom of the door to track it so it didn't flop against the wall. We watched the video and it expected you to use a router to put the groove in yourself. Problem with that is there are screws on the top & bottom of the door in the middle, so you could never do this without damaging the door. We took the model # that came on the door and went to the manufacturer's website - it is made for an interior door with hinges! They don't even have barn doors on their website, which makes sense why so many people are complaining about the installation of these doors. DO NOT BUY! Watch the install video and then look at the images below and you will see exactly what I am talking about and why it cannot be installed as a barn door. I also included the model # that came on the door and you can see for yourself, it is meant to be an interior door with hinges. Wayfair was great, and they returned the doors, but what a headache having all this material / product sitting around my house while I wait for the delivery team to come and pick it up.

Beautiful Solid doors! They were perfect for the project we had. The only down side to them was the delivery time, it took 5 mo's to get to us and they were delivered at different times but I am happy and would recommend them for sure!

These were an absolute pain to modify for installation (in my opinion). They were purchased to be used as a double door entrance to our gym (48" wide opening, so we bought a double 24" door kit). Instructions included are vague/incomplete, but you can find better ones from the manufacturer's website. Each of the two included metal rails is ~78", which means we had to cut them both to fit the opening plus the space along wall when the door is open (requires grinder, file, etc.) and you may have to drill new holes for the anchor bolts. Once modified, you lose the nice textured black finish which is something to keep in mind. The floor guides included in the kit to keep the doors from swinging outwards require you to cut a kerf (channel) in the bottom of both doors with a router. However, the doors are glued/screwed together along the bottom, which makes this step difficult to complete as it was very easy to damage them (they are solid pine and MDF). The heads of the screws that were removed for the 1/4" kerf had to be modified so they could fit back in place to hold the doors together. There is no catch to keep the doors centered when they are closed, so you have to gently position them and leave them in place or come up with a modification. Personally, I don't think this kit is worth the price, and it required hiring someone that really knows what they are doing to make it work in our case. This is not an easy DIY install.
