Wow. Door quality? Nice. Install time? 2 days. Why? One page instructions, not in English. Not in Chinese, not in any language. All pictures. All metric. Instructions are for a single door. If you buy the kit with two doors, it is doable, but don't expect any directional help. Hope you have a metric tape measure, metric drill bits, and some of the measurements just don't add up. Make sure you check the measurements. Now that it is installed? Yeah, I like it. Fiberboard doors are well crafted, and attractive. Super heavy. Laughable to use the "drywall anchors" included with the kit. Don't try it! Way too heavy. Bore this into studs only! Look, if you have a "cold saw" or the ability to cut 3/16" steel cleanly, some flat black paint, can locate 16" on-center stud placement, are able to bore 3/8" holes in steel if the precut holes don't line up, don't mind cyphering pictures with dubious measurements (hole spacing on the center connection is 15" instead of 16", for some reason), and are a decent carpenter, you are going to end up with some very nice barn doors. If not, this may be a more challenging product than you think you are paying for. I actually had a cold saw, a de-burr tool, the flat paint on-hand, and it turned out pretty well. Nice, actually. But this is definitely not an easy install. Shame really; this is one of those products that if the manufacturer had a group of unfamiliar individuals try to follow the directions for installation, and included some helpful hints for issues that may develop during install, this could be developed easily into an outstanding product with appropriate instructions. Bottom line: Once installed, fantastic. Misery during install trying to cypher the directions? Substantial. Tools needed: Drill, metric drill bits, metric tape measure, some means of cutting steel, de-burr tool for the cut-end cleanup, and of course, a ladder, a helper, a vacuum for the drill cleanup, patience and a conceptual mind to fill in the blanks from the drawings to match your situation and stud layout. Couple other things: if you are installing this over carpet, plan on figuring out a way to cut the carpet for the "door guides" and fabricating a spacer to accommodate the thickness of the carpet. Also, this arrived in packing that can fairly be called a crate; the packing for this was exceptional. Read that to mean an 1/8" plywood Luan shell wrapping all pieces, with plenty of protective packing. The packing for this was truly exceptional, but expect to deal with a substantial amount of "packaging disposal" afterward. For me, I was grateful for this, and it was totally acceptable. So, 5 stars for material quality, 1 star for misery in installation.

These barn doors were everything that I was hoping for! They upgraded my laundry room closet (in the hallway) from being something that I wished I could hide to something I’m proud of!!!
