Love, love, love this door. We had it installed and it just looks perfect. We were impressed at how it was shipped as well, very secure.

I can't say enough about how beautiful this barn door is. The kit includes all of the hardware needed for the install. I'm not sure what type of wood is used but it is solid and heavier than I imagined. Because we did not have enough stud points over the door we were working on, we decided to open the drywall and add reinforcement between the existing studs in order to handle the door's weight for years to come. The finish we chose on the hardware is a chic matte black and the door has a satin white finish on both sides which matches the other doors in the room well. The glass accents are frosted for privacy and let light through which is a nice touch. The frosting is such that you can not see what is on the other side unless it is pressed right up to the glass and even then it would be blurry. That makes this door ideal for closets, bedrooms or any other room where privacy is required. I strongly recommend this barn door but accounting for its weight is crucial.

We ordered this barn door for our new pantry and it looks stunning and fits perfectly. My only complaint is that the steel bar across the top is very long and can't be cut shorter. But all in all it looks great.
