These panels are exactly as they are described in the description for the product. I ordered the 8 foot lengths because my ceilings are 8 feet high. The measurements were exact. Although I only have two panels, I decided to put one on each side of my bed, and it adds a little bit of character to the wall in my room which I will eventually paint a different color. It’s hard to believe these are not made of real wood because even up close it looks real. Each panel has a soft felt-like backing which is nice because I know my walls will not be damaged other than the screws I use to attach them to the walls if I should do so. I currently simply have them leaning against the wall and you will see in the pictures it looks like they are attached. The first shipment was damaged en route to me, but both Wayfair and the manufacturer were wonderful and promptly sent a new shipment, and it arrived in perfect condition. Product is very well packaged. I highly recommend this product for those of you who might have larger spaces to cover and are able to purchase more than the two panels that come in one box.
