This versatile indoor door frame features a reinforced wood-clad steel construction that replaces flimsy metal frames, delivering superior stability, seamless drywall integration, and long-term resistance to wall deformation. The built-in soft-close damper ensures smooth, near-silent operation with every use, making it an ideal choice for upgrading bedrooms, bathrooms, or home offices where a quiet environment is essential.
Please Note: To ensure maximum freight protection and prevent transit damage, this complete set ships across multiple packages as an un-machined, knocked-down prehung system (assembly required). All components arrive unbored, giving you full control over handle height and installation preferences.
Q: Can this door be trimmed to fit my existing opening?
A: Yes. The solid core construction allows up to 0.5 inches of trimming per edge (top, bottom, left, right) to fit unique rough openings seamlessly. Please note that hollow core doors are not recommended for trimming, as cutting may compromise their structural integrity.
Q: How does the track joint help with installing a double pocket door?
A: The included alignment joint for double doors connects two track channels seamlessly, ensuring zero height misalignments or bumpy gaps when sliding two indoor doors together.
Q: Can I paint or stain the door to match my existing décor?
A: Yes! Both the white primed door panels and the natural pine wood door panels are fully paintable and stainable. The smooth, factory-primed surface (on white doors) and the natural wood grain (on pine doors) are ready to accept paint or stain, allowing you to achieve any colour or finish that complements your interior design.
Q: What are the benefits of including a pocket lock with this door system?
A: The pocket lock adds an extra layer of privacy and security to your space. It allows you to securely close off rooms such as bathrooms, bedrooms, or home offices when needed, while maintaining the clean, seamless look of a pocket door. The lock is designed for smooth operation and integrates discreetly into the door edge, so it doesn't interfere with the sliding function or the overall minimalist aesthetic.
Q: What is the return process for this door slab?
A: Please keep the original packaging and repack the door in its original condition to ensure a smooth return process.
