We love this bed! The trundle underneath is super spacious and we are able to open it up for sleepovers with brother. I’d recommend an 8in twin mattress for the trundle. We also used a bunkie board for the rope and trundle over the slats but that’s due to choice not necessity. It’s super sturdy

Perfect for my 5 year old but big enough for an adult

Sturdy and made very well. Just a little annoying to make the bed when you change the sheets.
