The bench looks nice and was fairly easy to assemble. The wood quality is decent, but the cushion could be more comfortable. Overall, it’s an okay value for the price

This bench is amazing. Large, sturdy and stylish. We have placed it in a courtyard and it adds warmth to the space.

My Wayfair order was delivered on the day promised right to my door. No dents, dings, or delays.

On the whole, it looks good, but when you look close, the wood is not well finished. You can see in the picture how splintery it is. This is just one example of a few spots that look very rough. Thankfully, where you sit seems okay. As far as the instructions, I feel like a few words or better pictures could have been helpful. I really had to manhandle the arms into place, which felt wrong but turned out to be a necessity.

I purchase and assemble a lot of mail order furniture knowing full well not to expect flawless quality. I spent a little more for acacia wood and the realistic weight capacity for a 3 person bench compared to other options. I've never been so disappointed in a purchase. This should have been the simplest thing I've ever assembled- on paper it is, but the wood was warped and the pre-assembled metal connection pieces were bent. Required a hammer to bend it back to where it would align with the hole. Wood is already scuffed and scratched in very visible places. Metal brand plate bent, as well as the nail holding it on. (See photos) It's almost like the production of what was very recently a quality Chinese import (as evidenced by multiple 5 star reviews) has been compromised by recent exorbitant tariffs, resulting a purchase that is the equivalent of the garbage people leave on the curb for big trash day in hopes someone will just take it away for free, because they're still striving to offer products at affordable prices that the US can't match. China is not to blame. 2 stars for meeting the bare minimum of function in that you can in fact sit on it, but sadly it will no longer be going on the front porch where people can see it. It looked like it had already been sitting there for a decade.
