These Fish Placemats are out of the ordinary, for sure. They are good quality material, but are on the expensive side I believe. This is the "Year of the Fish," here at our house, so I decided to order them for the fun of it. A want, not a need, without a doubt, but I ended up ordering them anyway because they go so well with the Fish Motif on our deck. I do like them, but wish they were a little more reasonably priced. However, I made the decision to order them as a little perk for myself, and I am glad I did !! If you like fish, these placemats are fun and evoke interesting comments. : }

I'm not too happy with this place mat set, I don't think the quality is all that good, they kind of remind me of like, paper towels, instead of fabricated place mats. The are little flimsy things, not too thick. I am not using them as place mats, but will find somewhere to use them.
