I bought this in scarlet years ago. BEAUTIFUL! Currently it has candy in it. It's ALWAYS in use, displaying something, even it's just produce on my counter. Now that I see it being "retired" I'm tempted to invest in another color before they're gone!

i have two of this bowl - one in sunflower and one that i believe was a limited edition piece. white bowl with a border of small snowmen on the inside rim. i would love to find add'l pieces with the snowmen if possible. i use the white w/snowmen during the holidays and fill it with fresh mixed nuts mostly, looks great on coffee table. i use the yellow mostly in spring/summer. i like to fill it with fresh berries and keep it in the refrigerator; i like how it looks. i will also put it in the center of my table with individually wrapped snacks for my toddler granddaughters . i'm thinking i needs another one but i haven't decided on the color, kind of leaning towards goldenrod.

I am a Fiesta lover. We use it and display it proudly in our kitchen. I had held off buying pieces in Butterscotch as I have several in both Persimmon and Tangerine. When I decided I wanted a pizza tray and hostess bowl this holiday season to use as an additional cake sever and appetizer presentations I decided it was time to give Butterscotch its place in our collection. We absolutely love it! Food looks beautiful on it and the details of the bowl just pop. It blends beautifully with all the many colors we have in our cabinets. I am considering ordering a second pizza tray and hostess bowl in Daffodil. I love blending scarlet with all the different shades of orange and yellow we have collected over the years. If you decide to invest in this hostess bowl go ahead and splurge on the pizza tray to go with it, used together as a cake pedestal or as separate serving pieces they are stunning in their quality and detail.

This is one of the most Art Deco pieces in the entire line, which I just LOVE! Granted, this bowl is a bit of an in-between size. For a smaller household of four, it fills the need of holding side dishes, rolls and such. My favorite use is when I want to take food, or soup in particular, to the couch or recliner. It's a bit oversize, but the depth of the bowl and tapered sides to the wide opening allow you to not have to fill to the brim and try to keep the bowl level as you walk across the room. It displays beautifully and could be used on the counter holding a few pieces of fruit, a plant, or a catch-all for keys, wallet & coins. If you think outside the box a bit, this bowl is quite useful. I have four of them myself in a household of two.

I haven't seen this suggested in the reviews and Fiesta might want to include a picture of this on the product listing. Sure this is a great serving bowl but I don't use it that way. I turn it upside down and place a matching cake plate on top to create a cake stand. We use it this way for birthdays and holidays to display desserts.

Love this hostess bowl! I've ordered several for myself and friends! So many uses!! Use it as a centerpiece, serving bowl, fruit salad or any salad! Makes a great presentation on every table. Everyone loves the Art Deco design. It's the hit of the party ! I give this a 5 star review. A must for any collector of fiesta ware! Brilliant

This bowl is grossly mis-represented as holding 41 oz. It only holds 24oz.

I noticed you are out of every color, please don't say they are discontinued. I would like some more. I love this bowl and wished you made it in a larger size for the counter top to put fruit in.

This is a beautiful bowl, with its Art Deco like design on the outside. But, it's a shame it doesn't come in larger sizes...

This is my favorite bowl. To answer the question asked a couple of times, this hostess bowl holds 40 ounces. Its a great size for serving and decorating. Its great for a dinner of large chicken salads or salad bar type salads. Just a great bowl.
