It is a little smaller than I thought it would be however I don't want TOO much water sound on the deck so it's probably just right. It took a minute to get started: just connect the pump, fill it with water, and plug it in. I put plants around it and you can't see the cord.

All in all, it's lovely BUT, I am disappointed in the size. Yes, I did measure the size before I bought it. I don't feel that the price justifies the overall fountain.
