I replaced two canned lights with this overhead light. One in the hallway and one in my office. Absolutely perfect light with just the right amount of muted natural light.

We love the look of this light, but the instructions are AWFUL! I eventually figured it out intuitively, but if you can't do that, this one isn't for you. It's made in China, and whoever writes the instructions should be fired immediately. Also, unless you have a second person to hold up the light or a very tall object of some sort that you can place directly under the outlet to hold it while you wire it and connect it to two screws from the junction box, don't buy it. However, if those two (major) concerns don't intimidate you, it looks great. We only used two of the four bulb sockets as four put out so much light it was blinding.
