Got this from my boyfriend who’s a pastry chef. Funny enough he did not have one in his apartment. He just keeps all that kind of stuff at work. It’s giving him the drive and the desire to start making things at home. Very happy with this now I’m getting things made for me all the time. Lol

I received this pastry mat through the Wayfair, tried and true program. I am not an expertly, skilled baker. I saw this mat, I thought it was perfect. I often have hard time gauging how big something should be in a recipe. This mat will help assist in sizing for cookies, piecrust, and bread. It is a thick well designed silicone mat, and it is even a little bit sticky on the bottom, which allows it to cling to my countertop and not move when working on it. I like that the directions on the back give the details of The silicone mat as well as precautions on how to use it properly. It also details what kind of heat and cold the silicone mat can resist. I know this is going to come in handy with the holidays coming and will be used quite a bit. My only negative comment would be the lack of washing instructions on the mat. But I am assuming that since it’s silicone, it’s a simple soap and water situation. Thanks Wayfair. This is a great addition to my kitchen!

I think this is going to be super useful in making our own quiche crusts. We’re gluten free so we have to make our own. It’s always a rollout and guess this may will make things so much easier. It’s sticky to the table (without actually being sticky) so it won’t move during the rollout. Directions for the mat are in French but I think it’s self explanatory.
