Overall, (once it was fixed) this piece looks fine (don't get too close.) Before you buy, be aware that the frame is plastic composite with a wood-look coating of some sort applied to it. Because it's plastic, the little metal shims they stick in the frame to hold the back in place had all jiggled out during shipping and the back had become loose, with the image slipping out of position. The frame is really, really hard and the shims had not been pushed in nearly far enough to keep the art, mat and backing secure. We took it apart, repositioned the art (which looks to be an ink jet print of a photo), cut new areas to stick the shims into with a knife, and forced the shims into place with pliers. You will need hand strength to do this. This frame also does NOT have glass -- it's acrylic. A positive: it's lightweight, so you won't need anything but a picture nail to hang the frame. I wished I had paid more attention to the specifics on this item. I wouldn't purchase something like this again. All in all, it seems pretty flimsy, but I have it hanging where it won't be closely scrutinized (good thing!)
