My first WayFair purchase ever, and it's not going well! I haven't unpacked the item, because the seller (or manufacturer) sent me a similar but the wrong item. I ordered a standard depth (5.75"D) fireplace, or so I thought - all the written specifications indicated it was 5.75"D. The item I received was the "slim" version at 4.25"D. After delivery, I looked more closely at the listing. I noticed a photo over-layed with the 4.25"D dimension, but this was the only indication it may have been the "slim" version. All the other specs said it was the standard 5.75"D item. I trust the specs over a photo every time. I've put a hold on my credit card in the meantime. We'll see how the seller/manufacturer handles this. I'll change my review and rating if they make it right.

Flame looks good. You can tell its electric but I dont think it would bother many people. The reason to buy this unit, rather than a 300 dollar one, is because the glass display is nicer. The frame is much nicer. For 900 CAD, its a good deal.
