Loving this fireplace! I had our contractor choose between this and another that was 300 more, and he couldn’t tell the difference. So glad we chose it - my kids love the color selection and it throws lovely heat for a Minnesota basement. It has a crackling noise option that I either find calming or corny, depending on my mood but keeping the sound turned off for now.

Awesome fire place, came in quick ! Easy mounting. Would buy again.

After removing it from the box I noticed the control panel behind the glass was not attached fully. I had to take all the sheet metal liner apart to access and reattach the panel. Once I opened it up I realized how flimsy everything is. It doesn’t have a heating element all the way across the unit, just the center section. So don’t expect more output with the larger size. I also found the dimensions for flush mounting the unit to be significantly oversized which led to some installation challenges. I recommend waiting until you have the unit on hand and measuring true dimensions before construction. It doesn’t heat my 12’x16’ room well and looks nice once installed but I feel the price doesn’t line up with the build quality.
