This piece arrived in 3 large boxes. 2 boxes were for one piece and the 3rd box was for other piece. So there are 2 separate bookcases, which actually makes it nicer as you can set up as you like. Overall quality was good but we did have one screw break through "wood" and had to fix. Directions were mostly clear but some are misprinted so pay attention. I put together myself and my husband helped with certain parts as they definitely need 2 people. It took me an entire weekend (about 10 hours of work) to put together, adjust and situate. We love the piece so far and are using for displaying our toy collectibles.

Very nice unit. Leds turn on initially as cool white and not warm white as pictured, but there is a pair of switches to change color Temp. Easy to assemble, but requires 2 people for at least 1 step of the assembly. Fit and finish are very nice, definitely recommend. Ill need to replace one of the led strips, but other than that no complaints.
