Beautiful sturdy coasters, terrible odor from the glue securing the cork to the back. Came well packaged in a box and sealed in plastic (great prtection for shipping but likely contributed to the smell). Smell dissipated after removed from packaging and stood up individually to air out for 2 days. Only complaint: would have preferred a set of 8 to correspond to the 8 placemats that they match.
