This is a great neoclassical design that goes with traditional as well as modern decor. It gives the hallway a level of quiet sophistication.

I purchased this fixture for the "hallway" between our walk-in closets in the master bedroom (10' ceiling). It provides sufficient light for the area and adds an elegant touch. The finish (polished nickel) goes perfectly with the wall color (a pale blue). I love its traditional style. 14" is a good size for the space.

Spent the past several years populating my living room with Stickley Mission Style furniture. The "brass & glass" light fixture in the foyer just didn't cut it. Not only does this look great with the furniture, the light it throws is a soft, warm, even glow. At first I was worried that it was not bright enough, but it's amazing how it fills the foyer area without being obtrusive. Using 43 watt halogen bulbs, which are 60 watt equivalent. Working on the wall sconces next, and the room will be done.
