These placemats were a great addition to my table. They are highly patterned ivory to light beige colored not really apricot as labeled, with some satin material woven in too and definitely lend to a more formal look on the one side but the flip side is a basic brushed suede-like material. I suppose you can use either side up when dining however I will need to remove the tags to do so. Overall a great quality placemat for your casual or formal dining table! Would give 5 stars but they really can’t be laundered just hand cleaned or dry cleaned
