I love this tree light. It is actually, just a touch, too brught for my patio. If I had the little propane fire pit going I wouldnt use the tree at all. I have a smaller patio, townhouse complex size, but still big enough to comfortably seat 8-10 people and the tree is more than ample for lighting out here. I double it as inside/outside as I dont want to leave it outdoors and in my living room, for seasonal ambiance it is awesome. Also, it does have a decent length cord for plug in and thin so no real issue with damaging if you close carefully between a door or window. The only thing I will say is, the trunk covering was damaged and peeling in one area, however, it simply has the appearance of electrical tape so an easy fix - as well, they only supply 1 extra light flower cover (bagged as an extra) and it came with 1 light cover missing so not a lot of leeway for losing them.
