So first of all, I think it’s totally rediculous that a nearly 700 led light doesn’t come with an RF remote. These remotes costs under a dollar to make so the fact that I had to pay nearly 100 in addition to the already overpriced light is rediculous. To add insult to injury, this remote isn’t super useful because you have to manually go turn the ball light on before you can use the remote. Then after 24 hours, you have to repeat that process. What is the point of the remote We have the ball set to cycle colors which is the default on mode and even if you did need to set other colors, you’re already holding the main led module so why not just push the buttons on that Basically this is only useful if you have many balls you want to control in unison. Additionally, this remote looks like it was made in the 90s. It’s huge and clunky. If you look on the manufacturer website, the remote has a more modern shape look but the one that wayfair sends is a big rectangle that is much larger than any other RF remote I’ve ever seen with fewer controls. It is also mislabeled with the boost heading over the wrong button. Not a huge deal but also not the quality I expect for a 70 sold separately RF remote.
