The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. File cabinet is a nice piece of furniture but it was a beast to assemble. It took me six hours to assemble it; two of the six hours could have been avoided if I have secured the cabinet to the wall. After assembling the cabinet and placing the folders it was really wobbly, so I decided to secure the cabinet to the wall. The filing cabinet arrived in solid box with lots of protection. No chips. The instructions are not that clear. All items in box properly numbered. I had to google how to take apart the slider part of the filing cabinet. I suggests look at all instructions first before starting to put together. I did a great job putting it together which took me off and on about 3 hours. I was shocked it was level once I put drawers in. Delivery was fine. The product not what we expected. Intensive assembly was needed. Instructions unclear. Instructions mentioned part numbers but the parts were not numbered. Instructions on a piece of paper with small pictures hard to match with product. We went to a nearby office supply store and bought an assembled filing cabinet with only the legs to be added. They said no one wants unassembled products like this. I can understand why assembly costs more than the actual product on Wayfair. We will not be using the Wayfair cabinet and will probably toss it.
