0.5-gallon aquaponics fish tank is made from ultra-clear plastic, and replicates nature’s metabolic cycle by providing a healthy and symbiotic environment for fish and plants: as fish excrete waste in the tank, the plant atop absorbs this waste as nourishment, which in turn cleans the tank’s water. For those more interested in growing plants hydroponically, our tanks can also be used strictly as a planter, allowing you to add your own nutrients. Your betta’s new home: bettas are the most popular fish for our 0.5-gallon aquaponic tank. With that said, please decrease the water level by about an inch, giving them enough space to breathe from the water’s surface. Weekly partial water changes are highly recommended. Suggested plants: most indoor house plants and kitchen herbs are suitable for planting atop. This includes peace lily, Chinese evergreen, lucky bamboo, English ivy, mint, watercress, chives, or any leafy lettuce. We recommend using established plants instead of starting from seed. If it can be grown in an indoor hydroponic garden, it can grow atop our tanks! Please research desired plant’s toxicity and nutritional requirements before using, it since fish may nibble on the roots. Please note that the plant is not a source of food for fish. Additional features: our aquaponic tanks come with ceramic planting media, which retains water and supports root growth for any plant you chose. To add water to the tank, simply water the plant, as if it’s in a pot of soil. As for feeding your fish, you’ll need to lift the black plastic top. Items included: a plastic tank, black planting lid, and ceramic planting media. Measurements: overall = 5.9" (dia) x 8.25" (h) / tank interior = 4.25" (dia) x 7" (h) / enclosed pot = 5.9" (dia) x 2.25" (h)

The Cascade 300 quietly delivers crystal clear water, and pushes water at 300 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for tanks up to 100 Gallons in size. It’s great for Freshwater and Saltwater aquariums. Accommodating: The adjustable flow knob allows for increased or decreased water flow at will, which is extremely helpful during feeding times, or use it as needed. The hang-on design is constructed for safe mounting. The lift tube extends between 8.25” (min) and 12.25” (max). Extremely Beneficial: This Cascade filter utilizes disposable, double-sided media cartridges that contain Activated Carbon and Poly Fibre Floss. The included cartridge traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odours from your aquarium’s water. Revolutionary: The Cascade 300 Power Hang-On Filter features a Bio-Sponge cartridge that optimizes colonization of anaerobic bacteria, and is independent from the first stage filter media. In addition, our Bio-Falls system enhances water oxygenation, and aids with removing ammonia and nitrate.

Works great even with my giant orandas.. Liza. Sat Sep 05 2026

I’m 72 and put this together myself. The instructions didn’t always match the picture guide, but I did get it together. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is from the very first screws I inserted there was some of the cabinet that flaked up. But once the screw was in place it wasn’t noticeable. It seems very sturdy. I have cement floors and had to add sliding pads to make it level. The back metal poles have a place to screw something in but nothing was included? I felt like that may have been leveling screws. There is none identified in parts of the ad. Love the large storage to hide all supplies. Cathy. Theodore, AL. Mon Apr 13 2026

The Rite-Bite Educational Betta Tank aquarium is designed to help teach children the valuable lessons in responsibility and taking care of other living beings, as well as a basic introduction to life-cycle concepts early on. It’s recommended that you discuss this enjoyable and interesting experience with your child, and explain to them the care and cleaning that’s necessary to maintain a Betta’s good health. This 1.13 gallon tank is designed for 1 Betta or 1 small freshwater fish. Note to Adults – This Item is Not a Toy. Easy Feed System: With the built-in Easy Feed System, you’ll be able to set up a week's worth of meals at a time, and will always be able to see if your fish has been fed yet. We know that one of the hardest parts of pet ownership for children is remembering to feed their pet every day. With the pre-portioned feeding compartments (similar to a weekly pill caddy) and scoop, you can help your child avoid overfeeding, since each scoop is the proper amount needed for your fish. This helps avoid one of the most common fishkeeping mistakes of either overfeeding or underfeeding. Customizable Background Scene: Give your child some crayons, and they’ll make the Rite-Bite Educational Betta Tank their own! They can use the enclosed sea-scape picture, or make their own for an aquarium that matches their imagination! Beautiful Lighting for Your Child’s Room: Each tank comes with a two-colour LED light (requires 2 AAA batteries – not included). White colour for daytime, and Blue colour for nighttime. This gives your fish the proper amount of light needed to help keep them healthy, all without making your child's bedroom too bright. Comes with Pro-V Crystals: This beautiful substrate serves two purposes: it helps decorate your child's aquarium as gravel, while at the same time, aiding in the absorption of waste, which keeps the water clean and your fish healthy. We have also designed a bottom drainage system for simple and mess-free water changes. Measurements: Overall = 9" (W) x 5.5" (D) x 9.5" (H) / Water Volume = 1.13 Gallon
