Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. Hi Melody, I hope you've been well. Hoping for your thoughts on an issue with the master shower completed a couple years ago at 119 Falcon Drive in Morden. We noticed a small area on drywall next to the shower a week or so ago - the paint was bubbling/wet and I was easily able to remove some drywall material - the board underneath feels wet and not drying after a couple days - I imagine if it was just splash from routine showering then it would've dried by now, but it has not.  I'm wondering if there could be a potential leak behind the tiled shower and if the wet area extends beyond the tile border, and what you (or your trades') suggestions would be the next best step. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. The shower and all its components is gorgeous and feels wonderful, but these tech issues are enough to drive you crazy, especially 18 months after install.. Cajunmeggle. Tennessee. Wed Feb 26 2025
