Lucky for us, this rug was on sale to boot, and is easy to manage, will be relatively easy to clean, and looks great. I love the greens and gray, and the rug feels great. One of the timeless creations from the design collaboration between Annie and Kit Kemp, co-owner and Creative Director for Firmdale Hotels. Drawing inspiration from a one of a kind antique weaving, this incredible flatwoven wool rug contains over twenty colours, kilim woven together as geometric diagonally interlocking stripes. A myriad of marled shades from Soft Blue through Aqua to Sprout and Leaf create a harmonious composition with notes of Spice, Russet, Lavender, Coral and Gold. Annie and Kit are united by their passion for colourful and carefree design, redefining contemporary Arts and Crafts for everyday life.

I have been looking at this rug for a very long time since receiving the Kit Kemp X Annie Selke catalogue. Finally I started my remodeling project and ordered the rug. It was just what I wanted, a casual and colorful wool rug for my dining room. When the 8X10 rug arrived it was folded inside heavy plastic. After opening the large package, I immediately went to the website and started a chat sharing photos and explaining how the rug arrived with very bad ripples and fold lines. I was sent information concerning how to deal with the problem such as rolling the rug, tying and letting it sit for a few days. That didn't work. I have been using weights on the rug and struggling with this problem for three weeks. The rug is somewhat better but two corners still flip up and there are still ripples. I love the rug but am very disappointed with how it arrived and how it looks right now. I am hoping it will eventually flatten out.. Dayle46. Mon Jul 29 2024
