Creating the perfect place to enjoy a nice afternoon, the Polystyrene Convertible Bench is the ideal addition to your yard. Constructed of weather-resistant polystyrene simulated wood, the bench easily converts to a table in seconds. The Polystyrene Convertible Bench is UV-protected and will not fade, crack, chip, or peel. Unlike wooden benches, the polystyrene will not splinter and never needs to be painted or varnished. The steel frame has a powder-coated, rust-resistant finish to ensure that your bench will last for years.

Instructions could be a little more clear ie section 2.7 the rod doesn't rest on the table hinges but instead is suspended toward the seat side while the bolts which you now insert hold the rod in place. Best hint to help, do not insert the pin in section 2.2 and the handle in section 2.6 until the alignment on how to insert the screws has been figured out otherwise you may have to take them off to get the positioning correct. Another person would be of great help in section 2.7 to hold the rod in place while the bolts are inserted. The rest of the instructions are reasonable. I liked it best that all the screws, nuts and bolts etc were in separate compartments and identified by name in one cardboard/plastic container. The convertible bench appears sturdy, is nice looking, can easily seat three adults or four young children. I wish the seat was one inch lower so that my feet would rest on the ground instead of just my toes guess I should wear shoes instead of having bare feet. The back rest can be positioned at a slight slant or the slant can be increased by leaning against the back rest, the slant will return to the slight slant state when pressure is removed. The table is a reasonable height for eating, reading or just resting your forearms but some might find it a little high. Easier to move in and out of the picnic table mode due to the table being higher. Overall I am happy with my purchase. The convertible bench looks good on my balcony and a full picnic table would have been too big. Just can't decide which way to position the bench. If I position it with the bench part overlooking my balcony, then the table mode has me looking at my apartment. The bench is light enough to move around if I wanted to move it. Decisions, decisions.. Sandy. Winnipeg, MB. 2017-06-20 21:16:04
