Chicken Brooder

Gravity Automatic Poultry Feeder & Waterer Kit: Ideal for family farms and poultry keepers. This automatic chicken feeder includes a 40 lbs gravity-fed feeder with three feeding ports and a 5-gallon automatic waterer with six drinking ports. The gravity-fed and watering system keeps feed and water clean and fresh, even during short absences. It features a sealing ring on each port, a detachable damp-proof lid of the feeder, and a pointed top to block rain and animals. Portable handles make it easy to move or hang, saving time and effort.

This review is for the automatic chicken feeder & waterer set made by Vevor. This set is on the larger size with the feeder's capacity at 40 pounds and the waterer holds 5 gallons. The set is constructed of a good quality thick plastic with handles and the feeder has round caps that can be taken off in the mornings and replaced at night to keep predators from eating the food. I absolutely love this set with the exception that you have to keep raising the feeder/waterer with the growth of your chickens or they will continue to scratch and waste the food. Otherwise, I have no complaints - just wish they came with a stand. As you can tell from the pictures our chickens are starting to scratch out the food instead of just eating it indicating that it's time we raised them both again. Raising them takes care of it. Would recommend this set! They work great, are easy to clean and save time by being able to load them to capacity.. Beth. De Soto, MO. Wed Jun 10 2026

Havent decided where to set this up for the girls yet. Took a while to set up with one person, but did just fine (after realizing I had to disassemble a couple pieces backwards...oops). Definitely use the protective gloves, edges are very sharp. Arrived banged up and dented, but with some determination and bending while assembling, it didnt make a noticeable difference. The protective metal tray to retrieve the eggs is odd, perhaps need hinges vs screws But I just left them a bit loose to openshut easily. Also, use a regular screwdriver. Recommend this product!. Compatible with heat lamps and thermostats (sold separately), this brooder helps you maintain the right conditions for healthy chick development. Simple, reliable, and reusable—an ideal choice for beginners and experienced users alike.

One time use. Won't even make it through one batch of chicks. I love the design of this, but it's made out of pressed wood that cracks with any moisture. It's not sealed and so the urine soaks through the wood chips we put in and into the wood. And we use a lot of chips and clean the brooder frequently. The chickens make a mess with the water and so now the bottom and sides of the brooder must be held together with tape. IF you buy this brooder, take time and SEAL the inside with some sort of paint etc. Also don't plan on using it more than once.. Elizabeth. Spokane, WA. Mon May 25 2026

If you are a backyard chicken keeper, you know the importance of a good coop. It needs to be safe, and sturdy, and provide ample space for your feathered friends. That's why we are proud to introduce our line of metal chicken coops, designed with both you and your chickens in mind. Our coops are constructed with rust-resistant and durable steel, ensuring they can withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Wed Sep 02 2026
