Compact Murphy Bed

This Murphy bed saves space with built-in storage. Crafted from wood and metal, it has rustic farmhouse charm with embossed barn doors. Integrated outlets and USB ports make charging easy. A foldable mattress is not included.

Exactly what we were looking for in this space. It took about 4 hours from box cutting to finish, directions were easy to follow, only had to backtrack once or twice to make sense of something that could have gone 2 ways (the rails). It folds out easily for one person, there is a drawer for pillows/blankets/sheets, and we got a 6" tri-fold memory foam mattress the folds right into the cabinet spot. Huge space save for our guest room. Angie. North Idaho. Mon Sep 28 2026

I'm very happy with this bed. It slides away and unfolds very easily. It took a long time to put together, but the instructions were very clear and every piece lined up perfectly. It looks great in my room. I also bought a 6" folding mattress to go in it. I haven't tried to put it away in the cabinet yet, but when I measure, there appears to be plenty of room for it.. Linda. It looks nice. Arrived mostly on time (1 box was delayed) and only missing 2 screws. There is a little scratch on the front but, otherwise, no issues. Somewhat difficult to put together and took two people for some parts of it. And I can confirm that there is NO mattress despite the description of the item specifically stating there was one (it said none was included in another part of the description so slightly confusing). Havent used it yet as waiting for mattress but happy so far.. Nicole. Toronto, ON. Sat Mar 14 2026

The only problem is lifting pistons or springs are too strong for the weight of the foam mattress we bought, causing the system to act like a giant spring that pulls the frame back up into the cabinet.. Carissa. Chino Hills, CA. Fri Aug 14 2026

First, I was sent the wrong colour (I got gray but ordered white) but had to keep it because there was no time to get anything else (the delivery was on time, I was late ordering). The mattress cover was so soft! There was a board that the thin coloured layer separated at the seam showing the press wood below (see picture) and a place where the intentionally exposed press wood had a small separation visible. None affected the use or safety of the product. The mattress was found to be surprisingly comfortable. I give it a 4 due to the above deficiencies ignoring the fact that I was sent the wrong colour. I hope you find this useful. Jada. St. Johns, NL. Wed Jun 03 2026

The bed itself is fantastic once built. My son loves it and we bolted it to the wall. It only comes with a certain type of anchor for cement walls. I ended up buying bolts. This bed is like 500lbs no lie. We had to dismantle the front panel in order to get it up the stairs and even dismantled the weight of it was very sketchy. This bed is never leaving this room.. This cleverly designed piece of furniture is a sight to behold! It looks like an elegant chest of drawers, but it's actually a Murphy bed! As a cabinet, top it with picture frames, books, flowers, or accent lights to decorate your home. When it's time to sleep, unfasten the front panel and it becomes a bed (mattress not included). Plus, the integrated USB port on the side makes charging your devices a breeze overnight.

I was quite intimidated when I opened the packages, lots of pieces and lots of fasteners. I slowly read thru the instructions, and realized I did need a 2nd person to help assemble. Once I got the drawer rails started, the rest was just as the instructions showed. My power screwdriver battery was dead, which would have made the whole process quicker, however I got the Murphy Cabinet completed. It looks great and is very sturdy.. Barb. Fri May 22 2026

Perfect for maximizing square footage without sacrificing style, this multifunctional piece blends effortlessly into any contemporary or transitional décor scheme. Its freestanding cabinet profile with clean panel detailing makes it as attractive closed as it is functional open.

Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026
