I purchased this for extra storage in our bedroom. I was especially pleased that the dimensions were exactly as described since I needed the shelves to fit specific items. The product fit the space perfectly, is well-constructed, and looks much more expensive than it was. One caveat is that it does take some time and patience to put the piece together. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. The only issue I had was how the assembly was layered out. The lower side cabinets are connected at first with the smallest flimsy connection and any movement afterwards will stress the connections and break, as it did for me. For that, it loses half a star. However, once assembled it was very sturdy but very difficult to moveslide on carpet. Two of the front doors came damaged in shipping with small scrapes but very noticeable. The Leg and Shelf are well made of sturdy material, with no issues with wobble after locking down the wheels. This crafting table is on casters that lock/unlock which makes it easy to move without scratching the new floors but also stationary when needed. The sewing machine, cutting & pinning tools will fit on the shelves which are great for storage purposes and easy accessibility. This sewing table can be easily folded to 12" W and fits into a tight spot for storage.
