Overall, this bedframe has been worth every penny. I purchased this bed frame on Black Friday two years ago and this thing still feels brand new. My two dogs and kids jump all over the bed and wrestle daily on it. This frame holds up due to the metal supports underneath, not just wooden slabs holding up the mattress like other bed frames. Also, there are buttons on the headboard to toggle onoff the led lights (view photo). I saw another reviewer saying they didn’t exist but they absolutely do. My only complaint is the red material scratches pretty easily. You can see that in the side-table photo. Otherwise, it’s a very sturdy and easy-to-build bed frame. Was looking for a basic, attractive platform bed for a new king size mattress we purchased. This fit the bill perfectly. Pretty straightforward to assemble, though I did use my cordless driver with a hex bit to speed things up. But the included allen wrench worked fine. Pay attention to where the washers go so you don't have to reassemble things more than once! It is solid wood, very sturdy. The look of the bed frame itself is great, and the color of the headboard fabric and the frame's wood, appeared true to the photos in the listing. The bed gets a slight hit due to the time and work to put it together. For a one person job it took about 4 hours to put together, and much of that comes from the need to drill all the holes for the slats, as you'll be drilling in to the bed frame itself, and you'll want to predrill those holes (and make sure you don't over drill as it's very possible to break through the bottom and expose the sharp bottom end of the screw. The tolerances around some of the screws and holes that are predrilled are also very tight, and getting the plastic washers on isn't the easiest. So make sure to have a power drill, appropriate drill bits, and a Phillips head bit, or else this bed could take you upwards of 5 to 6 hours to put together.. Richard. Jersey City, NJ. Tue Aug 11 2026
