Great buy! The bed is sturdy and was very easy to put together. The wood definitely has a yellow tone to it whereas the picture looked more brown so beware of that! We bought a 10 inch mattress for it, it goes all the way up to the top of the rails so I would suggest getting a 6 inch or 8 inch mattress instead. Emily. Herriman, UT. Fri Oct 24 2025

Came in two boxes in usual Wayfair fashion and in hundreds of pieces. Lol We dove in separated the pieces and quickly realized 75 of the pieces were not numbered.. This made assembly a little frustrating because we had to build parts and then take some apart and rebuild to go to next steps. The instructions could definitely use some more detail. And just FYI the roof pieces have spaces in between so don’t expect a solid roof . For the money I feel could be a little more sturdier, but I don’t expect anyone to be pushing on the backside so we will see how well it stands up. We also ordered 2 10” memory foam mattress through Wayfair. Would highly recommend a 6 or 8 inch for top depending on the age of child using the bed and how much the roll. The 10” is definitely too tall for the Trundle but are able to still slide Trundle in and out w a little extra work. Overall I am happy with the purchase. My 14 old squealed w delight and approves. Made all the extra work worth it! Definitely a 2 person job and took us 6 hours to build over 3 days. Honestly the extra time could have been cut in half if instructions were better Writtendrawn. Just be be prepared to have some patience while building.. Justin. Greenville, IL. Mon Oct 05 2026

Love the look of the bed, and easy to assemble. As long as your kids decide not to hang or climb the frame, you should be ok. The cutoff in the fabric is cool, but unsure how to secure it and have it stay in place without sewing additional ties/loops, or maybe velcro. To be fair, this could be caused by the way we attached the fabric, unsure. But the picture helps indicate that the flap doesn't reach, allowing it to sway. The lights add nice ambiance, but for us, because the bed is flush against the wall covering the outlet, a slim profile adapter that had the plug for the lights facing down would have been preferred. Also, I am unsure if there is a switch for the lights (couldn't find one), forcing you to unplug them each time. We chose to use an old external battery with an on/off button, but a smart plug would solve this issue. We purchased a Nectar children's mattress that fits perfectly. So there are some small flaws, but very happy with the purchase.. Peyton. NC. Sat Jan 17 2026

I appears to be everything we had hoped. There was some damage on arrival and during the paid assembly, but wayfair was able to find a solution. We have a 6 inch foam mattress, it's very comfortable and feels sturdy. I do think a bit thicker mattress could fit but since the shelves overhang a bit it could get tight.. Tracee. Edmonton, AB. This unique bed features a roof and fence, creating a fun and lovely space. Actual colour may vary slightly due to photographic lighting sources or your monitor settings.

Looks amazing. Exactly how it does in the photos. Some of the screws were a little hard to get in, specifically the ones that hold the roof on the house. It did take a really long time to put together and was very tedious. It would be much better if the little pieces that look like a gate around the sides came already attached to the railings even partially. It’s so time consuming putting like 35 of them on and spacing them apart perfectly. Other than that it seems pretty sturdy and my kids love it!. Anonymous. Mon Aug 25 2025
