I wanted to get a solid wood murphy bed, but price held me back. this unit is very well built and definitely more affordable.. Thomas. Punta Gorda, FL. Wed Jun 17 2026

Transform your living space with the Murphy Cabinet Bed, a smart furniture solution designed for modern homes. This multifunctional piece looks like a stylish cabinet during the day and quickly converts into a comfortable Full-size guest bed whenever needed. Designed for small apartments, home offices, and guest rooms, this space-saving bed helps maximize your available space without sacrificing comfort or style.

Did take a while to put together, but was able to do it by myself. Got this for a guest bed in the office that only gets used sporadically. For a mattress we are using a Sleep Number C4 bed we just upgraded from in the bedroom. This cabinet was perfect as it had the solid base a Sleep Number requires and the entire bed, mattress pad, pillows, and comforter ALL fit inside the cabinet and drawer. I did have to drill a small hole in the bed base near the head off the bed for the air tube and another in the back board to plug in the air pump, but both are in places not visible with the bed open or closed. We contemplated a traditional Murphy bed, but they seem to need the weight of a mattress to help hold them open? And they lacked storage space for all the other bedding to make up the bed. Since storage space is always in short supply, this bed seemed a better fit for our needs. I only gave 4 stars for some minor gripes. First are the stickers used to cover the cam locks. Wow is that cheesy. Most furniture I have put together using cam locks have a plastic disc that goes into the cam lock hole. However, the only place these are visible are the inside of the headboard when the bed is open. I would have appreciated plastic caps for this area vs the stickers. My only other complaint is about the cam locks themselves. Other furniture I have put together (including the glass door cabinet next to the bed chest in the photo) had a stop so you can't insert the screwdriver too far and potentially run into the cam lock pin when turning the cam lock. I am not sure if this is what kept happening, but I did have a few cam locks where I just could not get them to turn as far as they should have. Will call this one user error, but with a properly designed cam lock this isn't an issue. Like I said, pretty minor, and overall very pleased with the bed for what we needed. It is also really easy to open and set up as I had to do that half a dozen times or so figuring out how to get the Sleep Number air pump connected and the holes drilled.. Cheran. Lakeview, OR. This ingenious space-saving murphy bed effortlessly converts a compact room into a versatile living space, folding away neatly into a sleek, shaker-style cabinet when not in use. Crafted from engineered wood, this wall bed delivers the durability and refined craftsmanship that modern homeowners demand — whether outfitting a studio apartment, home office, or guest room. The horizontal fold-down design deploys smoothly with a single motion, revealing a sturdy slatted platform base that supports your mattress without the need for a box spring. Perfect for maximizing square footage without sacrificing style, this multifunctional piece blends effortlessly into any contemporary or transitional décor scheme. Its freestanding cabinet profile with clean panel detailing makes it as attractive closed as it is functional open.

Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026

Happy with the purchase. Selected for my guest room to save space and it’s a great looking cabinet. I read the reviews and was prepared for a long assembly time and that held true. By myself total assembly time was around 7 hours. Found it less daunting breaking it up over 2 days. Went with a 10” mattress and slept on for two nights after assembly and found it very comfortable. Make sure you read the assembly instructions very carefully. There were a few times that I almost missed a key point that would have been a problem or a redo had I not caught it. This is not a build for a someone new to assembly and if you are not somewhat fit you better have help as the boxes are heavy and you need some strength to assemble.. Edward. Greenville, NC. Wow! Get ready for four large boxes. They are heavy too. This is more on the plain side of a Murphy bed. Of course it’s press board wood. The wood press board is nice. Very, very heavy and thick too. We weren’t able to set it up at this time. Yet, looking into the boxes and checking things out. It’s nicely packed. Nice and white. Clean looking. Seems to be nice quality as well. No mattress! I was initially skeptical…will I like, will I not and if not how much will it cost me to ship back But I can tell you this unit is indeed a KEEPER! Lots of work to put together (took me 3 days) but the end result is well worth it. Perfect color and size. I bought this Murphy bed for my guest bedroom and its exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was definitely a challenge (instructions were good, but lots of heavymoving pieces), but for the price it was worth it. Well made. Easy to put together. One suggestion is to number the parts with a small removable sticker. A lot of the parts are similar. Mattress is not useful. Please upgrade to a more firmer mattress. The mattress it comes with is too soft and you start feeling the bed after the first night. But a great piece and addition to my home. Anonymous. Charlotte, NC. Thu Jul 10 2025

This murphy bed offers a smart solution for maximizing space in your home. Crafted from laminated MDF, it features a sleek rectangular headboard. The wall bed can be folded into the wall to free up more space for the room and it blends seamlessly into the background as a cabinet. The storage shelves perfect for storing books, decor, or your favourite knick-knacks. With multiple slats included, this bed provides a supportive base for your mattress, so there's no need for a box spring. Note: Murphy beds can only be installed on masonry solid walls. You can some heavy duty anchors, and also put shims between the brackets and the wall, it would be more stable.
