Japandi Dining Table

Have a good time with your families and friends and enjoy good food at this japan extendable dining table. Featuring a leaf design, the extendable dining table for 6 is extendable from round to oval. A great choice for small spaces, the extendable table seats four, expanding to accommodate six with the additional leaf. The smooth round corner design prevents scratches, especially safe for the elderly and children. Constructed from a premium solid wood pedestal base, the grey extendable dining table is sturdy and durable.

Beautiful, Substantial Table — Just Pay for the Assembly! I absolutely love this table now that it is assembled. The quality is exceptional, and the heavy solid-wood pedestal gives it a substantial, high-end feel. Although the tabletop is MDF, the black finish and visible grain give it the look of cerused oak, so it reads much more like solid wood in person. For everyday use, I keep it at the 38-inch setting, which is perfect for my dining space and comfortably accommodates four place settings. I’m looking forward to extending it to the full 55 inches for holiday dinners. My only criticism is the assembly. This is definitely a two-person job, and the instructions provided were not very helpful. It took us close to four hours, and we ultimately had to find a YouTube video to figure it out. I highly recommend paying for professional assembly. Once together, though, it is sturdy, beautiful, and absolutely worth it. I’m very happy with the purchase.. Manouchka. Miami, FL. Thu Aug 27 2026

Bring flexibility and modern elegance to your dining area with this 3-in-1 extendable pedestal dining table. Designed to adapt to your lifestyle, it effortlessly transforms from a compact 47” round table (seats 4) to a 65” oval (seats 6), and fully extends to 83” long (seats 8) — perfect for intimate dinners, family meals, or hosting guests. Supported by a sturdy pedestal base, this space-saving table offers maximum legroom while maintaining a sleek, balanced look. Crafted from durable MDF and it’s ideal for modern homes that demand both style and versatility.

I really love the look of this table and I'm torn between 3/4 stars. The pedestal design is beautiful, the walnut color is gorgeous, and I love that it converts from round to oval. The extension leaves work really well and are surprisingly substantial and heavy. Assembly was pretty easy too. That said, I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials, especially for the price. The laminate in particular feels pretty cheap. One of the pedestal posts already has laminate peeling away at the seam (it was like this at delivery), and you have to be really careful when putting in some of the screws and bolts because the laminate can easily peel or get damaged around those areas. My table was also missing some of the parts needed to secure the tabletop to the pedestal. I contacted customer service about that, and the manufacturer was very nice and immediately sent out the missing parts, which I really appreciated. I haven’t contacted them about the peeling laminate because I think I can fix it myself with some contact cement. Since the pedestal is such a large piece, I really don’t want to go through the hassle of replacing it if I can avoid it. I may still reach out if I can’t fix it, although I see the table is currently out of stock. Overall, I really do love this table and wish this exact design were available in real wood. It’s not an inexpensive table, and I do think it’s overpriced for the quality of the materials. I would happily pay more for this same design if it were made with real wood and a better-quality finish. It’s a beautiful, functional table, I just wish the quality matched the price.. Anonymous. This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. This table is so good to look at. Following directions, this table was easy to assemble but has a lot of parts. However, my husband helped me out with the last process, as this table is very very sturdy. Even though this table came supplied with all the tools and extras you need, a ratchet was supplied by my husband who taught me how to use it. It was fast and quick. My table is very beautiful and very sturdy. I will be purchasing some wonderful chairs to go along with the table from my favorite store....Wayfair. Also, wanted to point out the oak coloring was perfect for me. Also, the packaging was excellent. There was not one crack or damage done to the items contained in the boxes (2).
