We are so happy with this bed! My 9-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. Since we put it together, she actually makes her bed every morning and keeps telling us how much she loves spending time in her room — which might be the best review a parent can give! Assembly was very straightforward and easy to follow. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable bedroom upgrade that looks great and isnt overly complicated to assemble. We are very happy with our purchase! PS. This works really well for my son. He thinks the lights are cool and there are lots of spots to place his books and collections. We had up buy a new mattress though. First we had those foam mattresses and I stabled two but as soon as he sat on the bed, the pillows would fall in between the mattress and the headboard. The new mattress works perfectly. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers.
