Transform your living space with the Murphy Cabinet Bed, a smart furniture solution designed for modern homes. This multifunctional piece looks like a stylish cabinet during the day and quickly converts into a comfortable Full-size guest bed whenever needed. Designed for small apartments, home offices, and guest rooms, this space-saving bed helps maximize your available space without sacrificing comfort or style.

Did take a while to put together, but was able to do it by myself. Got this for a guest bed in the office that only gets used sporadically. For a mattress we are using a Sleep Number C4 bed we just upgraded from in the bedroom. This cabinet was perfect as it had the solid base a Sleep Number requires and the entire bed, mattress pad, pillows, and comforter ALL fit inside the cabinet and drawer. I did have to drill a small hole in the bed base near the head off the bed for the air tube and another in the back board to plug in the air pump, but both are in places not visible with the bed open or closed. We contemplated a traditional Murphy bed, but they seem to need the weight of a mattress to help hold them open? And they lacked storage space for all the other bedding to make up the bed. Since storage space is always in short supply, this bed seemed a better fit for our needs. I only gave 4 stars for some minor gripes. First are the stickers used to cover the cam locks. Wow is that cheesy. Most furniture I have put together using cam locks have a plastic disc that goes into the cam lock hole. However, the only place these are visible are the inside of the headboard when the bed is open. I would have appreciated plastic caps for this area vs the stickers. My only other complaint is about the cam locks themselves. Other furniture I have put together (including the glass door cabinet next to the bed chest in the photo) had a stop so you can't insert the screwdriver too far and potentially run into the cam lock pin when turning the cam lock. I am not sure if this is what kept happening, but I did have a few cam locks where I just could not get them to turn as far as they should have. Will call this one user error, but with a properly designed cam lock this isn't an issue. Like I said, pretty minor, and overall very pleased with the bed for what we needed. It is also really easy to open and set up as I had to do that half a dozen times or so figuring out how to get the Sleep Number air pump connected and the holes drilled.. Cheran. Lakeview, OR. Instantly turn any room in your home into a comfortable sleeping space with a Murphy Bed that’s been meticulously designed and tested with your safety in mind. Our wall beds undergo rigorous in-house and independent testing in accordance with ISO 10131, a European safety standard we voluntarily follow that goes above and beyond domestic requirements to ensure safe use in any living space. The 63W Full Murphy Bed is the ideal space saver for a multipurpose room. The mattress support uses flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure. Unique X pattern accents paired with Antique Bronze hardware create a relaxed and airy style that works well with coastal and farmhouse decor. The Full Murphy bed can be used every night, and it folds up and down smoothly and quickly thanks to the dual piston system. Choose your own mattress since the bed accommodates most standard Full mattresses (8-10 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 54 x 75 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including mattress). The open bed extends 88.2 inches from the wall. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. To avoid risk of injury, the Murphy bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 87 inches. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg). The Murphy Bed is backed by the 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.

It looks nice. Arrived mostly on time (1 box was delayed) and only missing 2 screws. There is a little scratch on the front but, otherwise, no issues. Somewhat difficult to put together and took two people for some parts of it. And I can confirm that there is NO mattress despite the description of the item specifically stating there was one (it said none was included in another part of the description so slightly confusing). Havent used it yet as waiting for mattress but happy so far.. Nicole. Toronto, ON. Sat Mar 14 2026

The Murphy bed is not quite what I expected. I chose it so my guests could sit up comfortably without hurting themselves, but I did not realize that the top must be lifted into place before the bed can be used. This makes it difficult and inconvenient for guests to set up on their own. However, I do like the way it looks and appreciate the storage drawer at the bottom. The Murphy bed does feel solidly built.. Anonymous. Sat Oct 03 2026

Well made. Easy to put together. One suggestion is to number the parts with a small removable sticker. A lot of the parts are similar. Mattress is not useful. Please upgrade to a more firmer mattress. The mattress it comes with is too soft and you start feeling the bed after the first night. But a great piece and addition to my home. Anonymous. Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026
