I was initially skeptical…will I like, will I not and if not how much will it cost me to ship back But I can tell you this unit is indeed a KEEPER! Lots of work to put together (took me 3 days) but the end result is well worth it. Perfect color and size. It looks nice. Arrived mostly on time (1 box was delayed) and only missing 2 screws. There is a little scratch on the front but, otherwise, no issues. Somewhat difficult to put together and took two people for some parts of it. And I can confirm that there is NO mattress despite the description of the item specifically stating there was one (it said none was included in another part of the description so slightly confusing). Havent used it yet as waiting for mattress but happy so far.. Nicole. Toronto, ON. Sat Mar 14 2026

I had to sit and label all the pieces. There’s so many broken and things off center with it. I bought two to put one in each of my kids bedrooms and I put the first one up and cried. For the amount of money it was it is so cheaply done. I’m considering taking it all apart and sending it back but I’m far into it and my kids rooms are all apart. Came back on to tell you again DO NOT BUY THIS. Just finished my son there’s still so much off and scratched and doesn’t even come close to lining up and ugh ugh ugh! What a disappointment and disaster!. Anonymous. Thu Aug 07 2025

Love that I now have a location for a desk that is not bulky and can easily be turned into a guestroom! It took 2 of us to put it together and was a tad more complicated than I expected but in the end was worth it. It took most of the day....just saying so you can plan ahead. :) We had a purple mattress we weren't using and thought we could use it with this. Um, no. Purple mattresses are too soft to be stood up on one end. Even so, I love this murphy bed and would buy it again.. Teresa. Auburn, AL. Tue Jul 14 2026

The bed itself is fantastic once built. My son loves it and we bolted it to the wall. It only comes with a certain type of anchor for cement walls. I ended up buying bolts. This bed is like 500lbs no lie. We had to dismantle the front panel in order to get it up the stairs and even dismantled the weight of it was very sketchy. This bed is never leaving this room..
