Everything has been Meraviglioso!! The plate sets match my lava stone table that I bought in Italy and had shipped to me! Color was perfect, they feel sturdy. I read a few reviews that said they had some chipping of their plates. I have had stoneware before and I feel these should not easily chip unless of course they are dropped or not handled with care. Perfect farmhouse dinnerware nicely sized, especially the mugs which are nicely weighted and not too large like many mugs are now days. The dishes are a pleasing medium gray color with darker speckles and bronze/brown-colored rims. This dinnerware seems to be of decent quality and does NOT get hot in the microwave. One mug came with a chipped rim, and another had a defect inside; one plate had a deep scratch, so I have requested replacements. I used sandpaper on the unglazed bottoms where they were a little rough, so they won't scratch the other plates when stacking. Hopefully, this set won't have to be babied too much because it is basically what I was looking for and was reasonably priced: $40.00 on sale. I had order two sets of dinnerware and I had one saled plate broken. I had summitted the claim and the picture until now it has not been replaced or heard anythng from wayfair.
