This is larger than I thought it would be and that’s an error on my part. Now I’m challenged with where to hang it. I love this shower niche! We are building an apartment above our garage and I'm trying to match the style of our house. Our bathrooms have black and white subway tile with mosaic floors. We did niches in the showers using tile and they look good, but it was difficult and I notice the imperfections all the time. This seems like the solution to all my shower niche problems! I love that the shelves are tall enough to accommodate my giant shampoo bottles. The great thing about this niche is you could use it horizontally or vertically. I'm thinking of getting a second one to place horizontally above my sink/vanity for skincare items, etc. I think this is going to look fabulous when installed. It's a very solid, sleek piece and I LOVE that the shelves are angled just the slightest bit to allow water to run off rather than accumulate. I hope to update this review after it is installed, but for now I'm including some photos of the item itself, next to the tile floor and a "mock-up" of the the bathroom that our guy did just to show placement, etc. You have to use your imagination a bit to get the full effect, but if you're looking for a shower niche with plenty of room and a great design, this is a really solid choice.. Simply put construction adhesive (not included) on the back side of the frame and push it into the opening in your drywall. It will glue to the outside surface of your drywall. Or you can screw it to the studs on each side. Five fully adjustable glass shelves use our own patented shelf supports. The shelves slide in, then install the included shelf retainers, and the shelves cannot fall off or come out unless you want to move them. Perfect in an earthquake zone.
